Centre Studios Springvale Reformer Pilates
Class Styles
We offer three core class styles to suit your needs — Reformer Pilates (Classic), Jump, and Stretch & Core.
We also run specialised classes for specific life stages, including baby-friendly and Seniors classes.
All classes are 50min and have a maximum of 8-10 people per class. Our intimate class sizes allow us to work with you closely to ensure you are moving correctly and challenged just the right amount.
Reformer Pilates (classic)
Our signature Reformer Pilates class delivers a full-body workout with a strong focus on form, alignment and technique.
Grounded in the core principles of Pilates, these classes are designed to build strength, improve balance, coordination and mobility, and help you move with greater confidence and ease in everyday life.
Suitable for all fitness and experience levels, classes can be tailored to challenge both beginners and more experienced participants. With our small class sizes, instructors are able to provide personalised guidance and support, as well as exercise modifications to accommodate individual needs.
Reformer Pilates (babies-welcome): These are our classic Reformer Pilates classes, with the added flexibility of bringing your little one along. Babies are welcome in a capsule, bouncer, pram or on a playmat beside your reformer.
We understand that finding time for yourself can be challenging as a new mum, especially when time away from your baby isn't always possible. By creating a welcoming space for both you and your baby, we hope to make it easier to prioritise your physical and mental wellbeing, and continue moving throughout this special stage of life.
Jump Reformer Pilates
Our Jump Reformer Pilates classes utilise jumpboards attached to the Reformer to add a fun, dynamic and low-impact cardio element to your workout.
Combining jumping sequences with strength, stability and core-focused exercises, these classes provide an energising full-body workout that challenges your coordination, endurance and control.
The jumpboard is a padded platform attached to the end of the Reformer, allowing you to perform jumping movements while lying down. This creates a unique cardiovascular challenge while placing less impact on the joints than traditional jumping exercises, making it an effective and joint-friendly way to build fitness and strength.
Please note: Clients must have attended at least one Reformer Pilates class at Centre Studios before booking in to a Jump class.
Stretch & Core Reformer Pilates
Our Stretch & Core classes are designed to improve flexibility, mobility and core strength through a combination of targeted stretching and strengthening exercises on the Reformer.
Using the unique support and resistance of the Reformer, you'll be guided through a variety of movements designed to help you recover, mobilise and stabilise, while enhancing your overall wellbeing.
This restorative class is perfect for relieving tension and tightness, helping you feel more open through the body and move with greater ease.
Join us for a deep full-body stretch and targeted core work that will leave you feeling stronger, more mobile and refreshed.
Seniors Reformer Pilates
Our Seniors Reformer Pilates classes are designed specifically for older adults, focusing on improving strength, mobility, flexibility and balance in a safe and supportive environment.
Classes are tailored to the needs of this age group, incorporating a variety of movements and exercises designed to support healthy ageing, joint health, posture, stability and overall wellbeing. Regular Pilates can also play an important role in maintaining bone density, improving balance and building confidence in everyday movement.
No previous Pilates experience or fitness background is required. With our small class sizes and personalised approach, modifications can be provided to suit individual needs
